Just check out the weather at the RMFC
Fly-in which took place on Sunday 1st August. As the early
morning mist cleared, suntan lotion was the order of the
day, and some good flying was had by all with a good line up
of impressive models.
The club was very organised in the way
they ran their event, and well organised Transmitter Control
and Model pounds helped everyone enjoy their visit to the
field. |

The field has two flight lines, one
for Fixed Wing and one for Heli. Although as one club member
pointed out, the farmer had dumped a mountain of manure just
over the fence from the pilot stance, a dead stick in that
area was going to be pretty tragic affair:-)
But really, the main runway is
massive, and their club hut/hanger area is superb. |

The Burgers were excellent, a couple of Heli
Pilots went through their Bronze and Silver awards, so in all a very
successful event.
On behalf of everyone that attended the event,
I'd like to thank RMFC for a fantastic day out and a well run event.
Lets hope they do another one next year
