The Competition

The Scottish Aeromodellers Association (SAA) create an annual competition the Scottish Power Nationals.
This is an international competition attracting a strong Scottish field as well as the individuals and teams from England Ireland and Wales, flying alongside our international entry field.
The competitions are carried out in accordance with the various international FAI rules and involve a multitude of disciplines over a 3 day competition.

	We propose to stage the next 3 years at Castle Kennedy. In 2008 Scotland intend to bid to be the host nation for the International Jet masters Competition. It has not been possible to host this event in the past however, Castle Kennedy would make a good setting for this event. Finally throughout the year Castle Kennedy would be ideal for a variety of Scottish Qualifying competitions. This is only possible with the airfield runway works as detailed.
